We collect as little as possible. There are no accounts, and we do not sell your data.

What we process

• Video links and clip times you submit – used only to make your clip.
• Your IP address – held in memory for up to one hour to enforce rate limits and prevent abuse. It is not written to a database.
• Server logs – our web server may keep standard access logs (IP, time, page requested) for security, for a limited period.

Your clips

Processed files are stored temporarily so you can download them, then deleted automatically, usually within one hour.

Cookies and third parties

We do not set tracking cookies. The preview player on our homepage is an embedded YouTube player provided by Google, which may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR), you may have rights to access or delete personal data. Because we keep almost none, there is usually nothing to retrieve, but you can contact us at any time.
